SSM Holding swings to profit in Q3

6630044 said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 98 Swedish öre per share, compared with a loss of 1 öre per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 29.4 million kronor, compared with a loss of 309,000 kronor in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 15.5% from negative 0.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to 189.7 million kronor from 40.6 million kronor, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to 142.7 million kronor from 43.8 million kronor.

Reported net income rose year over year to 45.6 million kronor, or 1.52 kronor per share, from 5.6 million kronor, or 19 öre per share.
