As part of its resumption of production and processing operations, Santa Fe Gold Corp. said Sept. 29 that it will soon begin the acquisition of several mine sites.
These include the historical Malone, Patanka, Hillcrest, Barranca and Principal mines in New Mexico's Knight's Peak region, which is known to include several high-grade gold and silver deposits and is estimated to hold over 15 million tonnes of ore, as well as 10 other mine sites.
Santa Fe Gold emerged from bankruptcy in June.
