Attica Bank transfers €700.5M NPL book to special purpose vehicle

Greek lender Attica Bank SA transferred a portfolio of nonperforming loans amounting to €700.5 million to special purpose vehicle ABS Metexelixis, Reuters reported Dec. 27.

The lender said ABS Metexelixis issued and transferred series A senior bonds with a nominal value of about €343.3 million and issued series B junior bonds with a nominal value of about €357.3 million, the newswire wrote.
