Henderson Municipal Power & Light seeks proposals for power supply resources

Henderson Municipal Power & Light is issuing a request for proposals for power supply resources with a targeted delivery date starting June 1, 2019.

The company, with a transmission system located in Western Kentucky, is soliciting proposals for full requirements power supply arrangements, block power arrangements and 50 MW Midcontinent ISO capacity zonal resource credits.

The company is interested in receiving an indicative price for the products on a three- and/or five-year term beginning June 1, 2019. It will also accept longer term indicative pricing from respondents but prefers fixed pricing for all requested products.

Bidders must be certified by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and have resources that operate within the MISO transmission system.
