Tenaska closes sale of 3 gas-fired plants to Avenue Capital Group

completed thesale of an approximately1,452-MW portfolio of assets to an AvenueCapital Group LLC affiliate, parties involved informed FERC on April12.

The commissionapproved the deal March17.

The portfolioconsists of three natural gas-fired facilities, namely the 342-MW facility in Wayne County,W.Va.; the 824.5-MW High Desertfacility in San Bernardino County, Calif.; and the 285-MW Wolf Hills facility in Washington County, Va.

King& Spalding LLP served as legal counsel for Tenaska, while Latham & WatkinsLLP served the same role for Avenue Capital Group. (EC16-73)
