Uber Technologies, Inc. co-founder and board member Garrett Camp assured employees that Travis Kalanick will not return to the company as CEO, Recode reported Aug. 7, citing an email sent to staffers.
Camp said the company is looking to hire "a new world class CEO to lead Uber."
In June, Kalanick resigned as Uber's CEO after large investors in the company demanded he step down following a sexual harassment probe.
