Chew's Group Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended March 31 was S$1.2 million, a rise of 37.8% from S$841,500 in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue increased 9.3% on an annual basis to S$17.0 million from S$15.5 million, and total operating expenses climbed 7.0% year over year to S$15.2 million from S$14.2 million.
Reported net income rose 66.8% from the prior-year period to S$1.8 million, or 2 cents per share, from S$1.1 million, or 1 cents per share.
As of May 13, US$1 was equivalent to S$1.33.
