Acciona posts €19M YOY increase in Q1 EBITDA

Acciona SA posted EBITDA of €320 million in the first quarter, increasing from €301 million in the year-ago period, thanks to a 15% increase in the production of renewable energy and improved margins at its infrastructure business.

Revenues grew to €1.68 billion, compared with €1.63 billion in the comparable period of 2017, according to a May 11 earnings release. The company reported net attributable profit of €61 million in the first quarter, an increase from €60 million a year earlier.

Total production for the quarter was 6,547 GWh in the first quarter, up from 5,655 GWh in the prior-year period.
