Preferred Bank shareholders reject execs' compensation proposal

Shareholders of Los Angeles-based Preferred Bank rejected the proposed compensation of the bank's executive officers.

A total of 6,983,645 shares voted against the proposal, while 4,995,165 shares voted for the proposal.

The Dodd-Frank Act requires the company to hold a nonbinding, advisory vote on the compensation of its named executives.
