Hackers breached WestPark Capital Inc. and leaked sensitive internaldocuments to pressure the bank into caving in to ransom demands, the International Business Times reportedSept. 27.

The hacker group, which dubbed itself The Dark Overlord, hasleaked about 20 of the bank's internal files after their initial demands wererebuffed by CEO Richard Rappaport, according to the report.

The leaked files included internal presentations, nondisclosureagreements, internal reports and contracts. It also included a signed agreementfrom an unnamed company, the legitimacy of which has been confirmed by thatcompany, indicating that The Dark Overlord successfully breached the bank'snetwork, the news outlet reported.
