Japanese internet retailer Rakuten Inc. said Oct. 17 that its door-to-door delivery service Rakuten Express is now available in 24 wards in Osaka City and in Sakai City in Osaka Prefecture.
The service provides delivery for orders from Rakuten Direct Inc., the company's e-commerce site for daily necessities.
The delivery system is live in 23 wards and 14 cities in Tokyo and in four cities in Chiba Prefecture, where the company also delivers book orders from Rakuten Books and caters to retailer's logistical concerns through the Rakuten Super Logistics service.
Rakuten Express was introduced in July.
