Oventus Medical Ltd. has appointed Sharad Joshi to the board as a nonexecutive director.

Joshi was president, CEO and COO of Microline Surgical Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of HOYA Corp. He was also founder, president and CEO of Blue Torch Medical Technologies.

Australia-based Oventus Medical is a medical device company that develops and commercializes oral appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring.
