Avesoro plans US$25M exploration program in Burkina Faso, Liberia

Gold miner Avesoro Resources Inc. has planned a US$25 million exploration program for 2018 to drill 171,000 meters, comprising 139,000 meters in Burkina Faso and 32,000 meters in Liberia.

Avesoro holds the Bea Mountain and Cape Mount projects in Liberia and the Youga and Balogo projects in Burkina Faso.

The near-mine drilling campaign in Burkina Faso will include 54,000 meters focused on nine targets at Youga and five targets at Balogo, with another 85,000 meters of regional drilling at priority targets within trucking distance of the Youga plant, Avesoro said Feb. 1.

In Liberia, the company will drill 17,000 meters focused on satellite target resource development and 15,000 meters on the advanced Ndablama target.
