New members join Electric Power Research Institute

The ElectricPower Research Institute on April 8 named six new members who willserve four-year terms.

Entergy Corp.Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Rod West andSouthern California Edison Co.President and director Pedro Pizarro have joined the board. So have TerryBassham — chairman, president and CEO of Great Plains Energy Inc. and — and Kenneth Cornew, president and CEO of Exelon Generation Co. LLC.

Joining them are Allen Leverett, the and CEO of , and LordJohn Mogg, president of the Council of European Energy Regulators and board ofregulators chair for the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators

The Electric Power Research Institute has also elevatedthree interim directors to four-year terms.

Ontario PowerGeneration Inc. president and CEO Jeffrey Lyash, Eskom Holdingsgroup executive for transmission and sustainability Thava Govender and MissouriRiver Energy Services CEO Thomas Heller will all now serve four-year terms.

Meanwhile, SouthwestPower Pool Inc. President and CEO Nick Brown was appointed as a newinterim board member to fill a vacancy on the Electric Power Research Instituteboard.
