Nexa: Três Marias zinc production hit by truckers' strike in Brazil

Nexa Resources SA said May 28 that production at its Três Marias smelter was partially affected due to interruptions in supply of zinc concentrate and other critical materials resulting from an ongoing strike by truck drivers in Brazil.

The strike has not affected production at the Vazante and Morro Agudo zinc mines and the Juiz de Fora smelter so far.

The company noted that it was taking all necessary measures to mitigate the impact of the strike on its operations, and is focusing efforts to resume normalized levels of production and shipments as soon as the situation is resolved.
