NewU Venture Partners GP LLC named André Bennin managing partner.

Bennin will work alongside early stage technology-focused investor EPIC Ventures LLP managing directors Nick Efstratis and Kent Madsen as members of the venture capital fund's investment committee.

The education-focused fund is a joint venture with EPIC and is a subsidiary of the Corporation of Western Governors University.

Bennin was managing director of corporate development at the Strada Education Network.
