Classic Minerals Ltd. said Aug. 3 that it commenced an approximately 13,000-meter phase two reverse circulation drilling program comprising 66 holes at the Forrestania gold project in Western Australia.
The company said the drilling will focus on the Lady Ada and Lady Magdalene deposits, where it will target high grade extensions along strike and down dip, as well as establish and increase the confidence in the mineral resource of both targets.
A scoping study on the Forrestania project indicated that the project will be economically viable, estimating production of 111,000 ounces of gold over a 2.5-year life.
