Mansfield, Ohio-based Hamilton Insurance Group Inc. has acquired Ashland-based Jones and Associates Insurance Services, effective April 1, Richland Source reported.

Following the acquisition, the Ashland office was closed and merged with Hamilton Insurance's Mansfield location. Jones and Associates owner Nedra Jones is working with the agency during the transition period.
