The Energy Transfer Partners LP crude oil logistics company Permian Express Partners LLC launched a marketing process to seek binding proposals for crude oil intrastate service on the first phase of its Permian Express 3 pipeline project.
The proposals would be for up to 50,000 barrels per day of volume commitments, representing the remaining capacity not yet signed into contracts on Permian Express 3's Phase 1, according to a May 29 news release. Phase 1 has a total capacity of 140,000 barrels per day, and Permian Express 3 carries Permian Basin crude oil to the U.S. Gulf Coast.
The capacity being offered to potential shippers during the marketing process is scheduled to come online in the fourth quarter.
Permian Express Partners is a joint venture between ETP and Exxon Mobil Corp.
