Lawreshwar Polymers Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 41 Indian paise per share, a gain of 44.1% from 29 paise per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 5.6 million rupees, an increase of 41.3% from 3.9 million rupees in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 2.7% from 2.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 22.9% year over year to 207.5 million rupees from 168.9 million rupees, and total operating expenses rose 22.2% from the prior-year period to 193.0 million rupees from 158.0 million rupees.
Reported net income grew 43.9% year over year to 6.0 million rupees, or 44 paise per share, from 4.1 million rupees, or 30 paise per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to 62.03 Indian rupees.
