CVC Capital Partners poached 's most seniorSoutheast Asia dealmaker, Alvin Lim, Bloomberg News reported May 4, citing"people with knowledge of the matter."
Lim, who was managing director and head of Southeast Asiabanking advisory at HSBC, will begin his new role at CVC Capital Partners inJune, the sources said. He will focus on investments in Singapore and Malaysia,they added.
Lim will assume a role vacated by Fock Wai Hoong, whodeparted CVC Capital Partners to join General Atlantic LLC in 2015.
Both CVC Capital Partners and HSBC declined to comment inemailed statements, the news outlet reported.
