HSBC hires head of investment-grade corporate credit trading in Europe

HSBC Holdings Plc named Andrew Sinfield head of Europeaninvestment-grade corporate credit trading as part of efforts to expand thebank's credit franchise, Thomson Reuters' IFRreported.

Based in London, Sinfield willreport to Hussein Dbouk, head of investment-grade, credit default swap andhigh-yield credit trading in Europe, according to the Oct. 4 report.He returns to the financial services industry after pursuing personal interestssince 2013.

Sinfield is a co-founder ofalternative fund Calibrate Management, which invests in U.K. real estate andprovides venture capital.
