The group produced 2.2 million tonnes of ammonia and about 3.7 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilizer, representing respective increases of 28.9% and 23.2% on a yearly basis.
The group attributed the higher output of key products to the commissioning of a new ammonia unit at Veliky Novgorod.
Total commercial output for industrial products, however, dropped 8.3% year over year to 869,000 tonnes, while total commercial production for apatite concentrate slid 5.9% to 339,000 tonnes.
