Oaktree Capital Management LP has raised about $1.05 billion for its Oaktree Real Estate Opportunities Fund VIII LP.

The fund has attracted capital from 31 investors so far.

Samsung Securities Co. Ltd. and Singular Asset Management Administradora General de Fondos SA are placement agents for the fund. OCM Investments LLC, will also place the interests but is not anticipated to receive sales commissions, according to the Form D.

Oaktree is a Los Angeles-based principal investment firm specializing in marketable securities and private investments.
