Chile's president appoints BancoEstado's new chairman

Chile's President Michelle Bachelet has appointed Enrique Marshall Rivera chairman of Banco del Estado de Chile, effective Oct. 2.

Marshall Rivera was formerly the vice chairman of the state-run bank. He temporarily served as chairman after Jorge Rodríguez Grossi was appointed the minister of economy of Chile.

Meanwhile, Juan Harold Foxley Rioseco was appointed the bank's new vice chairman.
