InterContinental Hotels proposes 10% YOY increase in H1 interim dividend

InterContinental Hotels Group Plc's board proposed an interim dividend of 33 U.S. cents per share for the six months ended June 30.

The amount is 10% higher than the per-share dividend of 30 cents paid out in the 2016 first half.

Meanwhile, the company reported a pretax profit of US$326 million during the period, up 9.4% from US$298 million in the year-ago period. Adjusted EPS amounted to US$1.13 in the first half; a 27.3% boost from the 89 cents recorded in the 2016 first half.
