Goldman Sachs to cut 65 jobs in New York

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC will lay off 65 employees in New York citing economic factors, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification dated Feb. 27.

The company set the layoff date for May 20.

Goldman Sachs typically reduces its staff by about 5% annually to make way for new hires, Bloomberg News reported.
