Amazon mulls Dublin office expansion

Amazon.comInc. is exploring options to expand its office in Dublin, the Irish Independent (Dublin) reportedApril 10.

The e-commerce giant reportedly hired advisers to secure an optionfor another city center office block for the next six months. Industry figuresexpect Amazon to lease office space enough to accommodate up to 300 moreemployees.

Amazon is also planning to build a data center in the southDublin town of Tallaght, as well as two more facilities around Dublin.

The company has about 1,700 employees in that are split between its customer support anddata center departments, according to the report.
