Pergamon Status Q4 profit climbs YOY

Pergamon-Status Dis Ticaret AS said its fourth-quarter normalized net income came to 10 kurus per share, an increase of 77.9% from 6 kurus per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 765,610 lira, a gain from 372,630 lira in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 69.9% from 42.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 25.6% year over year to 1.1 million lira from 872,550 lira, and total operating expenses grew 9.3% from the prior-year period to 802,830 lira from 734,700 lira.

Reported net income increased 91.1% from the prior-year period to 979,400 lira, or 13 kurus per share, from 512,470 lira, or 8 kurus per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 33 kurus per share, an increase of 24.6% from 26 kurus per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 2.4 million lira, an increase of 73.1% from 1.4 million lira in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue decreased on an annual basis to 4.1 million lira from 4.2 million lira, and total operating expenses grew 26.4% on an annual basis to 3.4 million lira from 2.7 million lira.

The company said reported net income increased 75.1% year over year to 3.1 million lira, or 42 kurus per share, in the full year, from 1.8 million lira, or 33 kurus per share.

As of Feb. 29, US$1 was equivalent to 2.95 Turkish lira.
