General Atlantic promoted Lefei Sun to managing director and David Buckley to operating partner.

The growth equity firm also appointed Roger Gao and Raph Osnoss to principal.

Hong Kong-based Sun is head of healthcare for the firm's China region, while Buckley leads the firm's insights group in New York. New York-based Osnoss is focused on investments in the financial services sector. Gao, who is based in Hong Kong, focuses on investments in the technology and financial services sectors in China.

All promotions will take effect Jan. 1, 2020.
