The VC Beat: Credit Sesame raises $43M; Mews secures $33M in series B round

This feature rounds up venture capital news and highlights larger deal coverage already published.

* Consumer credit health management platform Credit Sesame Inc. obtained more than $43 million in equity and debt financing, with ATW Partners LLC leading the equity round. Existing investors including Menlo Ventures, Inventus Capital Partners, Globespan Capital Management LLC, IA Capital Group, Symantec Corp., Capital One Ventures and Stanford University also joined the latest funding round.

* Battery Ventures led a $33 million series B round for cloud-based property management software company Mews Systems BV. Mews secured about $7.0 million in a series A financing round in June 2018.

* Baton Systems Inc., which provides on-demand payments through its distributed ledger-based platform, pulled in more than $12 million in a series A funding round led by Trinity Ventures, with Alsop Louie Partners and Commerce Ventures also participating.

* A $4 million series A round led by March Capital Partners was raised for frictionless game and technology developer Knock Knock Games Inc. London Venture Partners LLP, Raine Ventures LLC and Ludlow Ventures LLC are among the current investors that participated in the round. Knock Knock brought in $2.0 million in seed funding in July 2018.
