Pacific Investment Management Co. LLC has hired Jeffrey Thompson as executive vice president and portfolio manager on its commercial real estate team.

Thompson will be based in the company's New York office, where he will focus on commercial real estate lending opportunities. Previously, Thompson served as a managing director and co-head of the commercial real estate group at Annaly Capital Management Inc.
