HPIL Holding has signed a memorandum of understanding with RodDoc LLC, in which a 100% stake of HPIL will be acquired by RodDoc.
Discussions for a possible acquisition are now in an "advanced stage" and could be finalized in January 2018, HPIL said. RodDoc has a provisional patent in the ground drilling rod field, and HPIL plans to work to help expand its market and locations.
The company also terminated discussions with Voyport LLC over a potential partnership or investment in the voice roaming technology company.
HPIL announced in March that it had signed a nonbinding letter of intent with Voyport. Now, nearly nine months later, HPIL said it will instead look for possible investments or partnerships with ventures in the digital currency area, small technology businesses and other companies.
