Emmerson reports first gold pour at Edna Beryl

Emmerson Resources Ltd. achieved first gold pour at its Edna Beryl mine in Australia's Northern Territory, part of the Tennant Creek Mineral Field joint venture.

The mining and production from the Edna Beryl mine is being conducted via a tribute agreement with the Edna Beryl Mining Co., with full-scale mining expected to start in early 2018.

The first 1,200 tonnes of development ore has an average grade of over 35 g/t of gold, the company said Dec. 20.

The company said Dec. 20 it plans to investigate extensions to the mineralization outside the tribute area with underground drilling in 2018.

Additionally, Emmerson commissioned the recovery of residual gold from its wholly owned Warrego mill.

It has yielded 230 ounces of gold to date, with Emmerson entitled to 25% of all gold from this process.

Evolution Mining Ltd. has an option to earn up to a 75% stake in the Tennant Creek Mineral Field joint venture.
