King River applies for iron-oxide-copper-gold prospective licenses in Australia

King River Copper Ltd. applied for 12 exploration licenses in the Tennant Creek copper-gold belt of Australia's Northern Territory.

The applications cover 6,633.97 square kilometers of ground highly prospective for iron-oxide-copper-gold deposits, according to the Aug. 8 release.

Following the granting of the licenses, the company plans to conduct a detailed exploration program comprising contemporary geophysical and exploration techniques.
