Report: Chinese court rules against Apple in dispute with accessories maker

A Chinese courtruled in favor of an accessories maker in a dispute with over the right to use the "iPhone"name, Bloomberg News reported May 4, citing a Chinese publication.

Upholding a 2013 verdict, the ruling allows Xintong TiandiTechnology (Beijing) Ltd. to continue using all-capital IPHONE label on itsproducts.

Apple, however, will retain the trademark for mobile devices.Xintong makes products like smartphone cases, wallets and clutches.
