Osisko Mining starts 15,000-meter drill program at Black Dog gold project

Osisko Mining Inc. said Sept. 29 that it kicked off a 15,000-meter drill program on its Black Dog gold property, formerly known as Souart, in Quebec.

The Black Dog property hosts three known zones of mineralization: the Nubar, Tourmaline Hill and Barry-Souart zones.

Drilling will test targets along 5 kilometers of strike of the main structure hosting the historical Nubar showing and will also investigate gold anomalies associated with the Tourmaline Hill zone and work to expand the Barry-Souart zone.

Osisko Mining noted that the Black Dog property, which it acquired in February, is located 14 kilometers southwest of its Windfall Lake project.
