NRG Energy names 2 new independent directors

NRG Energy Inc. appointed Antonio Carrillo and Alexandra Pruner as independent directors, effective Oct. 15.

Carrillo is president and CEO of Arcosa Inc., while Pruner is a senior adviser at global independent advisory firm Perella Weinberg Partners LP and its energy division Tudor Pickering Holt & Co. LLC, according to an Oct. 14 news release.

NRG Energy also announced that director Bill Hantke will be retiring at the end of 2019, while Terry Dallas will not be standing for reelection at the company's 2020 annual meeting of stockholders.
