Landmark Bancshares names chairman

Marietta, Ga.-based Landmark Bancshares Inc. named Joseph Chipman Jr. board chairman of the company and its unit, First Landmark Bank.

Chipman replaced John Moore, who is now director emeritus.

Chipman is a former CEO and founding director of Lanier National Bank until he retired in 2002. He was a founding director and chairman of Midtown Bank & Trust Co., which was acquired by First Landmark Bank in 2014.
