A+E Networks promoted Evan Silverman to executive vice president of global digital products and platforms.
Silverman, who will continue to report to A+E Networks' President of International and Digital Sean Cohan, will oversee digital product, technology and design teams for the company's channels, including A&E (US), History (US), Lifetime Television (US), FYI (US) and LMN (US).
Silverman will also oversee platforms, including consumer-facing websites, TV Everywhere apps, direct-to-consumer subscription video on-demand products, along with new initiatives with devices like Amazon.com Inc.'s Echo and Alphabet Inc.-owned Google Inc.'s Google Home.
Silverman previously was senior vice president of digital media for A+E Networks.
Hearst Corp. and Walt Disney Co. jointly own A+E Networks.
