Tecan's chairman to step down next year; successor nominated

Tecan Group Ltd. Chairman Rolf Classon will step down at the company's next annual meeting on April 17, 2018, and the company nominated Lukas Braunschweiler to succeed him.

Braunschweiler is currently CEO of Sonova Holding AG and will remain so until March 2018. He had previously been on Tecan's board from 2009 to 2012.

Gérard Vaillant, another board member, will not seek re-election in 2018, and the company proposed Daniel Marshak to replace him. Marshak previously served as chief scientific officer of PerkinElmer Inc.
