AEP Okla. utility issues RFP for up to 300 MW of wind

is requesting proposals for a total of 100 MW to 300 MW of wind generation,ready for commercial operations by Dec. 31, 2018.

Windprojects must have a minimum nameplate rating of 80 MW and renewable energypurchase agreements should have a term of at least 20 years, according to arequest for proposals issued Sept. 28.

Theprojects are to be built in Oklahoma and should be linked to a transmissionline in the Southwest Power PoolInc. region. The delivery period for the renewable energy contractswill be from Jan. 1, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2038.

Forinterested parties, bids should be submitted by Oct. 27, and final contractswill be executed on Jan. 13, 2017. Details of the RFP are available
