M&T investor group dissolves with CEO's death

The Estate of Robert G. Wilmers, Voltaire Holdings LLC and related investment vehicles, with a stake of 5.6% in M&T Bank Corp., ceased as a "group" of reporting persons with Robert Wilmers' death, according to an amended Schedule 13D filed Feb. 13, which constitutes the "exit filing" of the group.

Wilmers, formerly a reporting person, was chairman and CEO of M&T.

The group beneficially owns 8,395,799 shares in aggregate in M&T.

In July 2016, the group reported beneficial ownership of 9,260,597 shares, or a 5.8% stake, in the Buffalo, N.Y.-based company.
