Eversource raises quarterly dividend to 47.5 cents

Eversource Energy's board of trustees declared a quarterly dividend of 47.5 cents per share, payable on March 31 to shareholders as of March 2.

The new dividend represents a 6.7% increase over last quarter.

Additionally, Thomas May will not run for re-election to the Eversource board of trustees at the annual meeting of shareholders, scheduled for May 3, according to a Form 8-K filed Feb. 2. He will retire from the board when his current term expires at the annual meeting.
