Marsh LLC has launched a China desk in Dubai, Reuters reported.

The desk will help Marsh benefit from commercial links between China, the Middle East and Africa, according to the report, citing the insurance broker's Middle East and Africa chief executive, Christos Adamantiadis.

The executive said Marsh has found deals related to infrastructure projects since the launch of the desk. A number of projects are in Africa and there is also China investment in the Middle East, he said, adding that the insurance broker's main focus is on China and Chinese contractors.

Marsh is a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.
