Monex Group lowers final dividend for fiscal 2018-2019

Japan's Monex Group Inc. cut its final dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31, in line with its forecast.

The company's board declared a final dividend of ¥2.70 per share, down from ¥6.30 per share a year earlier, according to a May 23 release.

Together with an interim dividend of ¥2.70 per share, the company's total dividend for the full fiscal year amounted to ¥5.40 per share, down from ¥10 per share in the prior-year period.

The final dividend's record date was March 31, while its effective date is June 3.

As of May 23, US$1 was equivalent to ¥109.67.
