HSBC's Asia real estate financing head to step down

HSBC Holdings Plc's head of real estate financing for Asia, James Lim, will depart from the U.K.-based banking group later in 2017, reported Aug. 8, citing Lim's LinkedIn page.

Lim, who is a managing director at HSBC in Hong Kong, said that he is currently on gardening leave and will join a new company in November. He did not elaborate further.

A spokeswoman for HSBC was not immediately available to comment on the bank's plans to replace Lim, the news outlet reported.
