Amazon.com Inc. extended the free, two-hour delivery service for food and a limited range of alcoholic beverages of its supermarket chain Whole Foods Market Inc. to Prime Now subscribers in Atlanta and San Francisco, the Seattle-based company said March 6.
The largest online retailer, which acquired the grocer in 2017, began offering the service to Amazon Prime members in Austin, Cincinnati, Dallas and Virginia Beach on Feb. 8 with plans of expanding the program across the country in 2018.
Prime Now customers can shop the Whole Foods selection at www.primenow.com or through the program's mobile app.
