Announcements
* Private equity firm Falfurrias Capital Partners LP signed an agreement to buy a majority stake in Industry Dive Inc., which provides business news, original analysis and other information products and services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
* Palo Alto Networks Inc. agreed to buy ZingBox Inc., an internet of things security company, for $75 million in cash. The acquisition is expected to close during Palo Alto Networks' fiscal first quarter of 2020.
* Small business lender Kabbage Inc. agreed to acquire data analytics firm Radius Intelligence Inc. for an undisclosed sum. Radius Intelligence's CEO and about 20 engineers from the San Francisco firm will join Atlanta-based Kabbage's San Francisco office to help integrate the companies' platforms.
Completions
* Red Arrow Studios International GmbH's Studio71 acquired more than 50 connected TV, or CTV, applications from Unreel Entertainment LLC for an undisclosed sum. Red Arrow is a ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE media company.
* Funds advised by private equity firm Providence Equity Partners LLC, made a majority investment in Data Management Inc., which does business as TimeClock Plus. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TimeClock Plus provides workforce management software.
* Microsoft Corp. acquired Movere Inc., a technology provider in the cloud migration space, for an undisclosed sum. Microsoft said the acquisition will complement Azure Migrate and its integrated partner solutions to make migration an easier process for customers. Movere is a software-as-a-service platform that provides businesses with intelligence to aid their decision-making in information technology environments.
* Global alternative asset firm TPG, through its TPG Capital platform, agreed to acquire CollabNet Inc. from private equity firm Vector Capital Management LP. CollabNet provides a platform for agile planning, DevOps and value stream management. Financial terms of the transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, were not disclosed.
* Independent cloud, database and application managed service provider Remote DBA Experts LLC completed the acquisition of Navisite LLC from Charter Communications Inc. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
