Tokyo Dome Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended July 31 amounted to ¥19.35 per share, a gain from ¥18.51 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.84 billion, an increase from ¥1.76 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 8.7% from 8.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased year over year to ¥21.25 billion from ¥22.13 billion, and total operating expenses declined year over year to ¥17.84 billion from ¥18.33 billion.
Reported net income declined from the prior-year period to ¥2.45 billion, or ¥25.72 per share, from ¥2.53 billion, or ¥26.49 per share.
As of Sept. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥107.36.
